Android phone is one of the most popular SmartPhone today. Demand for Android Phone are increasingly rising. Seeing these opportunities, Google responded by adding new features into the Android Phone.
As recently through its Chief Executive, Eric Schmidt, has announced a new Android phone equipped with a mobile payment system.
This new feature will use a chip from the Near Field Communication, which allows users to make payments via their mobile phones, as well as credit cards. Therefore users will need an NFC chip to enable this technology. In addition, Google will not take users' personal data through a credit card transaction via phone.
The latest version of the Android Phone or called 'Gingerbread' is expected to launch within the next few weeks.

Over in the UK - this type of payment system is still years away..
Some new bank cards feature this NFC chip - but has the technology for mobile phone payments even been ratified?
@IT Support Of course, the NFC has been ratified by leading mobile phone and electronics companies the world over. The technology is not something new, but it has got renewed interest specially since the Android Gingerbread running Nexus S from Samsung has NFC support in it. The situation can be likened to a few years back when Blue tooth had not really taken off. Mobile phone companies had an idea of its potential but it was only when the leading names added it as a standard feature that others followed suit.
