A rumor emerged about Apple plans to release a 15-inch MacBook Air. This news comes from reliable sources that is DigiTimes who claims that the upstream supply chain has begun shipping parts to Apple. The supplier believes that these parts will be used by Apple for the 15-inch MacBook Air. They also said that the 15-inch MacBook Air release date planned in the second quarter of 2012 by Apple which means starting in March.

“Estimated by the product planning, mass shipments of the notebook device will start in March and could be cataloged in either the MacBook Air or MacBook Pro line.” As quoted from DigiTimes.
