Info Tech - After Google, Amazon, and Apple to bring their cloud-based music service, now Hewlett-Packard (HP) also plans to make the cloud-based music service.
As reported by Softpedia, Wednesday (06/15/2011), "HP is negotiating with several major music labels for the cloud service. Although it is too early to know what exactly those services, HP reportedly will present a cloud-based services for music, movies and television shows."
Several media indicated HP will provide a service that allows users to store their music files and movies on the internet. Additionally, allows users to enjoy streaming music, tv streaming and watch online movie without having to download the file. Another rumor also mentions that HP will provide an online music store.
However, this discourse seems to still take a long time to be realized. Because HP itself is still not sure what kind of services they want to provide.
Regardless of when the cloud-based services will be launched, HP obviously have to compete with Google, Amazon and Apple in particular. Unlike Google and Amazon are still having difficulties reaching a deal with record label, Apple managed to hold several big labels like Universal, Sony, EMI and Warner as a partner to their iCloud service.
