In the first quarter of this year, Android accounts for 59 percent while in the second position is occupied by IOS 23 percent. In third place, has a considerable margin occupied by Nokia Symbian by 6.8 percent, followed by BlackBerry with 6.4 percent.
In the first three months of this year, Android smartphone shipments reached more than 89 million units. This figure rose 145 percent over the same period in 2011.
