There are many projects that have been presented today and which are pending to create solar plants of huge dimensions. To date, the largest of its kind built by companies of the size of Google, BrightSource and NRG Enery is truly the power of Ivanpah solar power plant. Located in the Mojave Desert, and with an area of 13 square kilometers, it is able to generate single up to 392 megawatts, enough to supply power to some 140,000 households.
