European Union demands to WhatsApp to stop sharing data with Facebook

When Facebook bought to WhatsApp we suspect black intentions of Zuckerberg and company to our data. That became reality a few months ago when the terms of WhatsApp changed, which alerted many organizations seeking to protect our privacy. Today the European Commission has called on WhatsApp to stop sharing data with Facebook.

In an open letter to Jan Koum, CEO of WhatsApp, European officials expressed their regret by changes in the terms of use of WhatsApp, where now the users information is shared for advertising. The European Union says that these changes are not the same when WhatsApp users were recorded in the service and which contradict what both companies promised not to do.

The article 29 Working Group showed its regret regarding the new terms of use and the way in which users were reported and accepted the change. The authorities called on WhatsApp to stop sharing data with Facebook while investigations are carried out to know if Facebook committed any illegality.

Unfortunately the Group of work not possesses another authority rather than warn whenever there are and recommend to the company property of Facebook. For his part, WhatsApp already issued an official response which says that they are working with the protection authorities to answer their questions.
