Facebook launches Marketplace, a new service for buying and selling

Facebook

We do not know where is the originality of the guys from Mark Zuckerberg. As a general rule, Facebook always has gone to slipstream of other companies copied again and again new features coming to the market for services like Twitter, Snapchat and Telegram. But this time it seems that it has ahead of competition, partly because one of the uses of Facebook groups is destined to people to buy and sell what interests you, for we can not say that it was an original idea, call it somehow.

To try to separate the utility of the groups, the guys at Facebook have launched a new function integrated into the application, for both iOS and Android, in which we can start adding products that sell or you are looking for. Of time and how often have we used the platform, this option only is available in United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia, but the company soon will be extended by more countries and it will also be available through the web access.

The only thing that makes Marketplace is to contact the seller with the purchaser, nothing more, he is responsible for managing the payment or charge a Commission for the sale. As we can read on the Facebook page where is has announced this new feature:

Facebook is a place where people connect and in recent years many people are using Facebook to connect with others to buy or sell. This activity began with the arrival of the groups and has grown substantially. Currently more than 450 million people visit such groups to sell or buy something from people who live in the same neighborhood to people who sell or buy from the other side of the world. For help to the people expand the number of possible buyers or sellers, Facebook launches Marketplace, a new service to sell and buy things in your community.
