Huawei says that 6 GB of RAM on a phone is an excess

Huawei is one of the leading manufacturers of smartphones in the world. However, the market has presented an erratic behavior over the last year and this has led to make the company more cautious movements for their releases in the future. And even, apparently, this scenario has led them to consider as necessary would be to improve the capacities of RAM in each new generation.

It turns out that Lao Shi, the Chief Operating Officer of Huawei has recently participated in the popular Asian platform of Weibo, wherein the Executive published a series of notes where defending the permanence of the combination based on 4 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage as the ideal balance for any terminal. Ensuring that anything with 6 GB or more is too much.

Shi marks a comparison between this trend of constant increase and what happened between the United States and the USSR during the cold war. Because, from their point of view, the launch of 6 GB and 8 GB models do not represent any substantial improvement in the performance of the terminal, nothing beyond the psychological comfort of the user by going to the front.

However, the increase in RAM is necessarily reflected in a rise in the price of the smartphone. That is why in Huawei is better focused in other specifications, which do not focus much on this aspect of memory.
