If you feel that the process of sharing an image on Instagram is very tedious, here is a simpler way. In the most recent update for iOS Instagram added a new extension for the menu sharing.
Now to share a photo you only need open reel images, choose which you like and share it from the menu. The process includes an additional step in which you can add text. After that Instagram automatically adapt it to 1:1 format and will be published instantly.
This single extension is useful to share images that do not need editing, since the use of filters or other tools have to be directly on Instagram. If yours are food photos overexposed and with the maximum saturation, this extension will not serve anything.
To use it you will need to enable it first in the activitiesmenu in the option share.
