Huawei confirmed in his press conference for Latin America at CES 2017 versions of its main models that reach different countries where is this brand.
Matt 9 and Matt 9 Lite
The most important of all will be Matt 9, that will come in the form of its base model in the region. Matt 9 comes with the Kirin 960 with eight-core processor developed by the company itself, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of storage and display of 5.9 inches. Dual camera follows the path of the P9, 12-megapixel camera.
Super Charge technology has now been improved and that means (according to Huawei) with 30 minutes of charging the phone be used during a day. And with 10 minutes of charging two full movies will be. 9 matte battery is 4000 Mah and its duration shall not exceed the 8 Mate thanks to optimizations in the use of processor power.
The Mate 9 Lite will also do the same in Latin America. As we know, it’s the most modest version of Matt 9 running with 955 Kirin and 4 GB of RAM. This model also brings dual camera, but not the same as the primary phone since it is not “co-designed” together with Leica.
The P9 Lite, renovated
And since the Lite P9 did well, Huawei will continue selling it now in a version called P9 Lite 2017 that comes with Kirin 655 (more i5 co-processor) processor, 3 GB of RAM and 12 megapixel camera. In general, the new P9 Lite maintains the same characteristics of the original design and ergonomics, which according to Huawei were one of the keys to its success.
Huawei Nova, for other users
Thinking about the youngest, Huawei announced that it would bring to Latin America the Nova, a phone thought of those who like removed selfies each time. In that sense, include the options of “beauty” of the camera called Beautiful Makeup & Beauty Skin, that promise to fix any imperfections in the face without any delay.
The Nova runs with Snapdragon 625, has 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution screen, 3020 mAh battery and fingerprint sensor.
Huawei ensures that those will be his major in Latin America models, although in the future that could change; who knows if they bring 9-Mate Pro version or another variant, but for now do not seem to have much hope.
The interesting thing about LATAM is that the perception of the brand has increased on average by 78% over the previous year and 2017 goal is ambitious: expect to reach the second place in terms of sales of phones.
So far no definitive release in each country dates, although it should not take a long time until there is news.
