Megacable is the second company in offering quad play in Mexico

Less than a week that is confirmed the upcoming release of a Virtual mobile operator (MVNO) by Axtel, to become the first signing of telecommunications in Mexico to offer quadruple play services, emerges a new company that will offer the same range, and is not America Movil.

Megacable pay TV company has just announced that it will launch its own MVNO, emulating the footsteps of Axtel, to provide telephony sets, cable tv, mobile phone and internet subscribers.

About this fact Efrén Páez, Mediatelecom analyst, points out that the Jalisco company would launch its MVNO at the end of the year 2017, very likely as a strategic complement that merged with his other company Ho1a, which maintains commercial alliances with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).

The focus of its offer remains uncertain, however Megacable become the second company of great size to offer quadruple play services. The third if it regards the small Maxcomm, whose coverage is limited.

Moreover, America Movil, the mobile operator which condensed to about 70% of mobile users in the country is behind their projects into this segment, due to regulations imposed by the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT).
