Microsoft releases an application to display your collection of things nerd

Microsoft Garage always has ideas for applications. The most recent has to do with those objects that we collect and resembles slightly to Pinterest. Known as Thinga.Me, the application captures images of your objects, then group them and share them with the world.

If you have a collection of Star Wars figures, simply take you picture each using a decent background (preferably white) and in good light conditions. The application can remove the background of each figure thanks to additional editing tools.

At the end you can choose a background and share it with the world. The collections are stored online and Thinga.Me offers a link that you can share on Facebook, Twitter, email or any other social network.

The application is available for iOS, though it requires a prior registration since it is in testing phase. If you want to sign up, you can do so from the official site.
