In March, Instagram announced plans to change the order that we see the photos. The idea was to show them according to relevance, but users not pleased this initiative. It was so much discontent, then the company ensured that the feed would remain as it was, at least so far.
Now the company finally announced that it will change the order of photos, being just like Facebook algorithm. Our home will have photos “that more us imported” based on interaction with other users and not those which were published recently.
According to the official blog of Instagram, they have been launching this order at a fraction of the users and they have discovered that these “give them more ‘like’ photos, comment them more” and that “they have participated in the community in a more active manner”.
“With this new order not you will miss the video of your favorite band after the concert, even if it takes place on the other side of the world and at a different time. And no matter how many accounts continue, you should see the latest posts from your best friends,”say in the blog.
The news has already begun to have impact on social networks, however according to the website, the update will be available from next month.
