Samsung launch two folding phones in 2017

Samsung seems that it will seek to give us some surprises during 2017. A few weeks ago reported the existence and future launch of their flexible screen smartphone, provisionally known as Galaxy X, for next year, and now comes a new report that suggests marketing not only one, but two terminals with this distinctive quality.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Samsung would be currently evaluating the possibility of launching two terminals with screen flexible for the year 2017, one with the qualities already known and attributed to the Galaxy X, with a design that evokes a cosmetics case, and apparently another model that would have a folding screen but with another type of torque.

The informants, who requested anonymity for obvious reasons, claim that this second terminal would have a display OLED 5 inch, able to deploy up to eight inches, dimensions that are reminiscent of a tablet. Such a description fits with the prototype shown by Samsung two weeks ago at SID Display Week 2016 in San Francisco, California.

To launch something as developemnt as a flexible display seems a clever and almost necessary movement that could make a difference in the increasingly competitive smartphone market.

The picture is complicated for the industry in general. Apple prepares for a hard hit with the bad reception planned for the iPhone 7, while it becomes obvious the need of any news, beyond the processor capacity and camera, who manages to revive the interest of consumers.
