According to a study published by Telefónica, Chileans spend about five hours and a half a day on your mobile phone. Being Facebook it application more occupied by the people, with a use close to the 90%.
The social network’s Zuckerberg is followed by Google, WhatsApp and YouTube with 85% each, Gmail with 73%. Social networks Twitter and Instagram have 37% and 22% respectively, while Apple Maps is mysteriously more used than Google version.
Other applications that draw attention to deeply are Pokémon Go and Uber. The first has lost 8 times the number of users active in the country, while that Uber has risen 500 percent use. These are the most radical examples of boom and bust that is in Chile this year.
More data show that among them 22:00 and 23:00 hours Facebook rises in a 250% its use, while YouTube climbs significantly among them 18:00 and 19:00 hours, with almost a 300% extra. WhatsApp reaches its highest point of use between 19:00 and 21:00 hours.
The regions of the country with more users connected to the mobile internet are the Metropolitan Region with a 38.8%, followed by Valparaiso with 11.7%, leaving the Region of Bio Bio with a 7.3%.
