Synaptics combines recognition facial with sensors of traces #CES2017

Consumer Electronics Show 2017 continues through the course of their activities, and although most of its innovations have fallen away from the field of mobile devices, some of the most important companies in the industry are already present, showing some interesting technological advances, such is the case of the guys at Synaptics.

This firm, specializing in the development of solutions of security and authentication of users on smart devices, has just presented its new active biometric technology, where combined readership of fingerprints with facial recognition, as a joint method for verifying the identity of who tries to unlock a smartphone.

Teaming with KeyLemon company, they are developing this new identity verification engine, where for example, a user wearing gloves when operating your device can unlock it at the moment without exposing your hands, thanks to the system of recognition.

The intention is that this technology works intelligently, jumping from one method to another according to the activities of the user, or by opening the possibility of having two active protection filters at the same time.

Is soon to talk of the future of this technology, but is almost safe that may be integrated in some models of smarpthones within some years.
