The study of King, the developers of the popular Candy Crush which was acquired by Activision Blizzard, has announced that they are making a Call of Duty game for mobile.
According to the announcement on its web site, plan to create a game of Call of Duty on mobile phones that “the best experience of the consoles, that fans know and love,” while at the same time “open a new field for the mobile and redefining genre”.
The study also mentioned that the team widely will play with prototypes and “given the freedom to think outside the box”, taking advantage of all its knowledge to launch “surprising results”.
King has not revealed how it will cover the franchise in the new mobile game, but promises a “fresh, social and highly accessible game” with an “authentic experience”.
Formerly Activision has made mobile games of the popular Call of Duty franchise, but this is the first time that there will be one in charge of King.
In other news about Call of Duty, Activision Blizzard has plans to create a cinematic universe of this IP to Marvel style and popular movies. In fact they revealed that they already have several ideas and written screenplays.
