WhatsApp could allow to share music, mentions and public groups

Apparently WhatsApp is preparing new features to launch your application. The German web site Macerkopf has shared information and screenshots of the beta 2.16.7.257 that have been testing.

One of the functions that were detected is the possibility of music sharing. At last! With this, users can share songs stored on your device or from Apple Music, although in the latter case, both the transmitter and the receiver must have a subscription. Those who receive a song will see a player like the message audio, but with a musical note icon.

Other functions which revealed the beta are public groups and mentions. Public groups anyone who has an invitation link can be accessed; the group administrator can remove the link if you want to convert the chat in private.

Mentions work equal to that as we have seen on Twitter, with an arroba (@) can be labeled contacts within the talks. This clearly will facilitate communication when we have lost many messages. Thanks to WABetaInfo we can see how these functions are:

Finally, WhatsApp will also enlarge the emojis and they will be three times as largeas those that presented Apple when he presented the new features of iOS 10.

As we announced, these functions are only in beta for now, but it is likely to see them on our phones in a few weeks.
