Far have been the days of agile release. Sony has had many problems with the update of their devices to Android Nougat in any of its variations, and since the incidents of January seemed that had stopped its program, so far, that the XZ Xperia and X Performance will give the jump to Android 7.1.1.
The confirmation of this update has been done through the Xperia Blog, rather than by any official means, but for now the first reports indicate this Andorid 7.1.1 update, contains all the known basic improvements, including the new emojis.
At the time both models were also the first to upgrade to 7.0 Nougat, so it seems that Sony is still a very consistent pattern.
Hopefully is more constant in the near future. As it is customary in Latin America will have to wait one little longer.
