Another day, another security flaw in Android serious. According to an exclusive report from BBC News, Check Point security firm would have come up with a set of four vulnerabilities, generated from a security flaw in the architecture of the Qualcomm chipset present in the majority of devices Android in the world, and which would allow the attacker access root to the terminal, allowing the possibility of even steal or delete all of its contents.
Michael Shaulov, head of the mobile division of Check Point, revealed this finding in the framework of the Def with Security Conference 2016 in Las Vegas. Since the detection of QuadRooter, people from Check Point has worked in conjunction with Qualcomm to develop a security patch that has been delivered to different manufacturers with smartphones at risk.
