Google Android Drive has received an update and brings a couple of new features that will be very useful to users and shall be provided with the application management on your smartphone (via Engadget).
Now Google Drive allows you to place shortcuts for files and folders directly on the desktop of the cell, this means that at the end it is not necessary to go to the application to open a file that we use constantly, we can open it from your home screen with a widget.
The new version also has added the option of “increase storage” within the same menu. This shows the plan that we currently have and offers to improve it quickly and easily, in the case that we need more space on the Drive.
Finally, bad news for users of Android 4.0. The company mentioned that this update will be the last that will receive the devices with Ice Cream Sandwich.
