Google has taken seriously the hardware business. With the upcoming announcement of the Pixel, the Mountain View giant will begin a new adventure in the mobile and this has made the services of David Foster, an engineer from Amazon which has several projects in its curriculum.
According to The Information (via Engadget), Foster would have left the Amazon’s Lab126 secret division to join the ranks of Google. During your stay at Amazon, David was responsible for devices such as speakers Echo, models Paperwhite and Voyage of Kindle, the Fire and the Fire Phone tablets.
Foster has enough experience in the field of hardware, so Google has hired him as Vice President of product engineering. The new Executive will be responsible for the division Pixel and will be responsible for the next Google phone.
Perhaps this will be the chance to shine in the mobile field for Foster, since his last experience with the Fire Phone was not what was expected.
