Nokia returned with all #MWC2017

Perhaps what most expected of this Mobile World Congress were ads that Nokia would make to 2017, and the truth is that we were not disappointed for nothing. The Finnish label made us know that various interesting devices, come without having to appeal both to nostalgia to capture our interest.

The first one is the Nokia Watch, a team focused on human health, which will have a huge battery life, making us 25 days of operation thanks to a single charge.

But what went was to see phones and we were not disappointed us. Nokia announced its Nokia 6 global – which until now was only available in China, the high range that will include a “pure” version of Android, modified to increase the security of those who occupy this kind of devices, making step a lot of updates in the future. The model comes with a screen Full HD 5.5 inch, processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa – core, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal memory, main 16 Megapixel camera (with a remarkable opening of f/2.0 and modifiable interface), sound Dolby Atmos and Android 7.0 system.

This version is a Special Edition, which comes in black color with several extras that were not specified directly in the presentation, to a value of EUR €299.

Also the brand announced the Nokia 5, an edition of medium-low range a little more compact than its predecessor model, manufactured in aluminium and with a screen of 5.2 inches, at a cost of EUR €189. It has an IPS LCD panel 5.2-inch (1280 x 720), 2GB RAM, processor Snapdragon 425 octa – core, internal memory 16GB and Android 7.0.

Along with the above, also announced the Nokia 3, a cheaper model (EUR €139) with a 5-inch Gorilla Glass – like her older brothers – panel. Both this device and the two referred to above, will be available worldwide during the second quarter of 2017.

At the beginning of the presentation, the firm clear left us that they not licenciarían brand to no other manufacturer or software developer, denying, incidentally, all the rumors that pointed towards that objective from the Finns. The reasons are obvious, the company has been many years in the culture of this country, so outsource would be to betray the same culture of Europeans.

Perhaps because of the above reason is that, after much speculation, they decided to reintroduce its iconic 3310 Nokia the market in a completely enhanced version, which does not come with Android or any other advanced operating system, but with Snake (game that from today is also available on the platform Facebook Messenger) and everything we loved basic phones of yore.

In this way we can see how Nokia returned to the mass market aimed at consumers, completely setting aside the model implemented so far, in where he focused his efforts only to other companies. Could it be that we will see the rebirth of the signature from this year? We’ll see, but everything sounds to us more than well.
