They have not passed nor two weeks since the launch of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Galaxy Plus, and everything seems to point to that Samsung will have an extraordinary first quarter of profits.
The company has announced as its projections about the first quarter of 2017, anticipating an extraordinary period of income. Samsung estimates it will achieve profits by about KRW ₩9, 9 trillion (about US $8,700 million), obtained thanks to estimated total revenue of KRW ₩50 trillion (US $44,000 million).
These figures represent an increase of more than 50% compared with the same period of the previous year, where were able to profit by KRW ₩6, 68 billion, which would run as conclusive proof of the favourable moment currently living company. A moment of respite after the difficult year that took the company.
But it was also a historic moment, since this would be the first annual quarter with better earnings in Samsung’s history. But it would not be its best gains of the recent time period, as in the third quarter of 2013, where it attained revenues of KRW ₩59, 08 trillion (approximately US $55.590 million).
It seems that it is almost official, after conflicts with the Galaxy Note 7 and your battery, the gray days for Samsung seem to have finally ended.
