Telefónica Chile announced its financial results for the first half of the year. The report shows growth in mobile Internet revenues, thanks to the 4 G. According to Telefónica, was recorded a growth of 7% in access to mobile postpaid, where 4 G customers reached 1.2 million by the end of June.
Things were not all good, since the company registered a fall of 4.7% in operational revenues of Telefonica mobile Chile, which amounted to CLP $461.363 million. While postpaid customers rise as foam, not the case with prepaid, where it experienced a drop of 17.9%.
Added to Entel and clear, Telefónica has a dominant position in the market of mobile telephony in Chile. Although at the beginning, we have seen a precipitous decline in the field of the Andalusian, Telefónica has been able to recover in recent months.
In the fixed business, Telefonica reported growth of 7.5% in the fixed broadband bandwidth, 3.8% in the pay TV business to an astonishing 18.6% in the business of communications companies.
