It is almost always only Google Now and features grabbing the spotlight with each new. Long ago the feature Now on Tap to discover content is available in Spanish and today has been updated with interesting capabilities, according to the Google blog.
If you thought that Google Translate floating bubble was useful, expect to use Now on Tap in any application to translate your content. A card will be shown in the bottom with the detected language to translate into English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, for now the only supported languages.
In addition to the translation, another novelty which accompanies Now on Tap is the new ‘Discover’ button, which will help you to find multimedia content related to what is there on screen. For example, reading an article of Pluto you will find videos, images and related links.
Since it is not enough, by images searching has been improved for read QR codes and bar using the camera and images stored on phone, useful when you go shopping and you want to know a little more of the product and what people think about before deciding to buy it.
The new capabilities of Google Now on Tap will be available starting today, although in a staggered fashion. As it happens, Google said that it will continue to work to offer more features, new ways of finding content and make it more quickly in future updates.
