Map of free WiFi connections in airports around the world

Internet connection stopped being a luxury to become a necessity, since daily requests screams keep us connected even when away from home. A data connection may be sufficient, but not the best choice when we travel.

Attention, passengers from on high, as Blogger Anil Polat (via Mashable) understood this need and decided to create WiFox, an interactive map of airports offering free WiFI connection.

Simply click on an airport for more information on the WiFi network, with or without a password, which is provided together with the instructions to connect.

The map is updated regularly by Polat and shows a lot of airports around the world, but perhaps not all. However, it may be sufficient for the novice traveler who wants to know with certainty which airports offer free WiFi connectivity.

Since waiting for a flight might be eternal, the next time you travel to check this interactive map to check that there is a WiFi connection free available with which you can kill time.

WiFox is available on the web and in the form of application for Android and iOS devices.
