But not everything is finished for the team behind CyanogendMod who wants to reconnect with the community Android through Lineage OS, bet Kondik to regain the spirit of CM. Lineage YOU has taken the baton and the project is already active from GitHub. Best of all is that we already have available some unofficial ROMs Lineage OS so you can download them to your phone.
Lineage OS is actually the latest stable firmware CyanogenMod, so it should not affect users who have any of the following terminals:
- ASUS Zenfone Max
- LG G3
- LG G20 from T-Mobile
- OnePlus 2
- OnePlus 3
- Samsung Galaxy S2
- Samsung Galaxy Verizon S5
Currently Lineage OS has the version 14.1 and is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. You can download the ROM from this link. The flashing of the ROM is always through the custom recovery on terminals that are compatible, as they are the same from this list.
Anyway, Lineage are YOU looking for more developers who are collaborating on the project. Will not be easy to find collaborators who have servers or those who spend their free time cooking ROMs. Nor are in those years in which was almost basic relegated in a ROM alternative since the manufacturers almost updating their terminals by penalty by their users or by the poor experience of user that offered their layers custom.
