Google releases Chrome code for iOS

The project of open source, Chromium, welcomes Chrome for iOS, version of Google browser for Apple’s mobile devices. IOS constraints had kept separate from Chromium browser code, so far.

Google indicates on his official blog that, after years of Refactor the code of Chrome for iOS, it has managed to release it and share it in Chromium.

Since iOS requires that those browsers implement WebKit, Google should pass above them restrictions for Chromium support the motor web of Apple and Blink, this last used in others platforms.

The development of Chrome for iOS will accelerate thanks to the release of your code, since tests carried out in Chromium will also be effective in it.

From now on, the developer community can build Chromium version for iOS code. This would require the use of the Xcode development environment, obviously, in OS X.
