Active Theory has developed Paper Planes, an app that grew out of Google I/O 2016 and is located between experimental apps that Google from a web page dedicated to it. The concept of the app is that you launch a plane of virtual paper that you can do it to fly around the globe.
The great peculiarity of throw the paper plane, is that you can stamp the seal of your province so that when someone “catches” to your plane, can print yours and make it fly again through the world. In this way, virtually, there are tens of thousands of paper airplanes that run through all the locations on the planet.
The app is on Android Experiments Google page and can be downloaded from the own Google Play Store. The objective of Paper Planes is that those paper airplanes become a link between all those people who are in different locations on the planet to create an instant connection between them.
That world 3D is rendering in WebGL to the use the library three.js and is takes advantage of them instances and WebWorkers to calculate and render them thousands of aircraft that is found flying around the planet. When an aircraft is released, this is you can catch at any time randomly. Done, appears a push notification on Android N showing far that has come with the own stamp or seal of the site from which it was released.
Print itself, it bends and turns to throw. A web site locates all aircraft nearby to see them or even admire as himself is riding the skies across the globe in 3D rendering. A witty and surprising idea to get to know the locations of other parts of the planet that you would not existed.
